[ In this case, “ho” is not wrong.

But anyway, Winter recognizes the use of magic even if it’s not a spell he’s seen before. ]

[ Counterspell, bitch. The magic fizzles and dies before even a frost can form. And quick on the heels of that, he reaches out with Telekinesis to lift the troublesome demon off the ground – Black Frost can contest it, if he wants. But he’ll have to make a Strength check vs a… uh. Rolls in the dice channel.

[HA after doing some smt to d&d math, Black Frost only gets an 18. Suck it, Black Frost.

The spell fizzles out, and Black Frost is startled enough that he doesn't react in time for the telekinisis; before he even knows what's happening, he's being lifted right off the ground, squirming and flailing in the air.

Ringo, catching up now, breathes out a casual:]

Wow, nice! I'm impressed. It's like you've been handling demons all your life.

Is that what this thing is? Demons in my world aren't typically this... cute.

[ He can only hold concentration on this for ten minutes. ]

Sure is. Not all demons are as cute as he is, but we've got a few of 'em.

[She comes right up to Black Frost, propping her hands on her hips and scowling at him.]

Alright, mister. I get it. We'll go back so you can do your little showbiz thing and I'll swap you out for someone else. But you gotta get back in the COMP for now.

[He grumbles, but hangs his head. "... Hee ho-kay..."

I guess that's not too far off. Back home we call people who deal with demons Devil Summoners.

Hmmm... usually dealing with demons. Sometimes we fetch stuff for people.

Most of the time it's negotiating with demons or nudging them away from populated places or saving people from them, though.
